Rex A. Madrigal, MDPRESIDENT

Dr Madrigal is a graduate of Santo Tomas University and finished his residency at the same institution in 1995. He went to further training in Colorectal Surgery in 2000 at UP-PGH.

He was instrumental in the formation of the new training program at James Gordon Memorial Hospital in Olongapo City where he served as the Training officer from 1996-2000.

He eventually relocated to the Bicol Region in 2001. He served as the Training officer of the Department of Surgery from 2009-2012 and later thereafter became the Medical Training officer of the Bicol Medical Center.

He is currently practicing at Bicol Medical Center, Mother Seton Hospital and NICC Doctor's hospital in Naga city and at UST Hospital.

Jose Ravelo T. Bartolome, MDVICE PRESIDENT

Dr. Bartolome graduated Doctor of Medicine in FEU-NRMF Institute of Medicine, 1989 and took his Postgraduate Internship in FEU-NRMF Hospital, 1990. He


finished his Residency in General Surgery in the Department of Surgery, FEU-NRMF Hospital (Year: 1992-1996); Chief Resident (1996)

He took his Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology: Department of Surgery, UP-Philippine General Hospital, January-December, 1999.

He is a Medical Specialist III, Department of Surgery; Bulacan Medical Center and currently the Training Officer of the same. He is also a Consultant in the Department of Surgery at Veterans Memorial Medical Center, UERMMC and FEU-NRMF Medical Center.

He has an Academic Rank of Associate Professor in Surgery at FEU-NRMF School of Medicine. He is also member of Faculty in the Department of Surgery at UERMMC.

He served as President of The Philippine Society of General Surgeons, Metro Manila Chapter in 2013 and Philippine College of Surgeons Metro Manila Chapter 2015. He also was the Chairman of the Board of Governors, Philippine College of Surgeons 2016.

He was born in the City of Malolos in Bulacan.

Andrea Joanne A. Torre, MDTREASURER

Dra. Torre Is a practicing General Surgeon in Bacolod City. She is a graduate of West Visayas State University College of Medicine. She finished her surgical residency at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.

Venerio G. Gasataya, Jr., MDSECRETARY

Dr. Gasataya is a graduate of West Visayas State University College of Medicine in Iloilo City and finished his residency training in General Surgery at St. Paul Hospital -Iloilo in 2001. He is presently taking his Masteral Studies in Hospital Administration at the University of the Philippines-Manila.

He is currently practicing in Qualimed Hospital-Iloilo, St. Paul Hospital-Iloilo, Iloilo Doctors' Hospital, Iloilo Mission Hospital, The Medical City-Iloilo and St. Therese MTC Hospital-Iloilo.


Dr. Co is General Surgeon and currently practicing in Visayas Community Medical Center Osmeña Blvd. Cebu City 6000

Jorge M. Concepcion, MDDIRECTOR

Dr. Jorge Mangoba Concepcion is a Clinical Associate Professor of the College of Medicine, University of the Philippines Manila and a Board of Director of the Philippine Society of General Surgeons, (PSGS CY 2016-2018) & Physicians for Peace-Philippines.

Concurrently, he is President of the Philippine Association of Training Officers in Surgery (2017 & 2018), Training Officer of the Department of Surgery of The Medical City, Assistant Chair of the Department of Surgery of Pasig City General Hospital, Co-Chair of the Committee of Quality Assurance and Patient Safety & Member of the Committee of Trauma of the Philippine College of Surgeons (PCS) and Director in Charge of the Committee of Surgical Training for the PSGS.

Dr. Concepcion holds a Diploma in the Management of Casualty and Catastrophe from the Apothecares of London, Leadership and Management Development Program Certificate from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business and Disaster Management Program Certificate from Hyogo Emergency Medical Center in Kobe, Japan.

He is a certified trainor for Advance Trauma Life Support Course (ATLS), Definitive Surgical Trauma Course (DSTC) and Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance And Patient Safety (Team STEPPS 2.0)

Dr. Concepcion finished the General Surgery Training Program and the Trauma Surgery Fellowship Program of the University of the Philippines- Philippine General Hospital. He is a graduate of University of Santo Tomas College of Medicine and Surgery.

Shalimar C. Cortez, MDDIRECTOR

Vitus S. Hobayan, Jr., MDDIRECTOR

Dr. Hobayan graduated Doctor in Medicine at University of Sto. Thomas in 1985 and Faculty of Medicine & Surgery. He finished his Residency at Cardinal Santos Medical Center and attended Postgraduate Trainings at Queen Mary Hospital in Hongkong, Asian Medical Center (Korea); Hepatobiliary Surgery, Therapeutic Hepatobiliary and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, USC Minimally Invasive Surgery; Therapeutic Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. 
His current appointments as Vice Chairman, Department of Surgery and Head, MIS Department at Cardinal Santos Medical Center. 
He also in government service as Consultant and Chairman of Department of Surgery in Tarlac Provincial Hospital.

Ida Marie T. Lim, MDDIRECTOR

Dra. Lim graduated Doctor in Medicine in University of SantoTomas,1993 and completed residency training in General Surgery, same institution, 1998 
She had her Fellowship Training in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology at UP – PGH, Department of Surgery, Division of Head, Neck, Breast, Esophagus & Soft Tissue 
She is a faculty at the UST FMS with Academic Rank as Associate Professor III; 
Vice Chairman of the Dr. Jose R Reyes Memorial Medical Center Department of Surgery and Head, Section of Head, Neck Breast and Soft tissue

Omarbasha S. Lucman, MDDIRECTOR

Dr. Lucman graduated Doctor of Medicine from Ateneo de Davao University-Davao Medical School Foundation in 1984. He finished his residency training at East Avenue Medical Center,1990-1994. He attended Pediatric Surgery Fellowship training at Philippine Children's Medical Center,1994-1996.

He further study for Master of Public Health at University of the Philippines-College of Public Health,1986-1987. He is currently a Faculty Staff of Mindanao State University-College of Medicine, Department of Surgery; Medical Specialist, Department of Surgery Northern Mindanao Medical Center and Training Staff, Mindanao Consortium of Surgical Training Program. Miguel C. Mendoza, MDDIRECTOR

Dr. Mendoza graduated Doctor of Medicine in UERM Memorial Medical Center in 1991 and finished his residency in the same institution as Chief Resident 1996. He attended Post Graduate Clinical Fellowship Training in Minimally Invasive Surgery: Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Texas USA 2000-2001

His current positions as Asst. Dr. Ona graduated in FEU-NRMF in 1995 and finished residency in general surgery at UP-PGH in 2001. He was a research associate at the Boston Center for Advanced Biomedical Research from 2006-2007. He is an active consultant in St. Luke's Medical Center BGC and at the Adventist Medical Centre Manila. He is currently a faculty of the St. Luke's College of Medicine with Academic Rank as Asst. Professor II

He is currently practicing at General and Lapariscopic Surgery at St. Luke's Medical Center (32nd St BGC, Taguig PHL 1634) and Adventist Medical Center Manila (1975 Donada St, Pasay City, PHL).

Rolando M. Reyes, MDDIRECTOR

Dr. Reyes graduated in DLSU – College of Medicine, 1994 and took his Residency: DLSU Medical Centre 1996-2001, Master’s Degree in Health Professions Education at University of Santo Tomas- Magna Cum Laude, 2013

Jose U. Tan, Jr., MDDIRECTOR

Dr. Tan is a Graduate of Cebu Doctors’ College of Medicine. He finished Surgical Residency at Cebu Doctors University Hospital in 1999. He got his Fellowship Training in Lap Colorectal in 2008 at National University Hospital, Singapore.

He is currently practicing in Cebu Doctors University Hospital, UC Medical Center, North Gen Hospital, South Gen Hospital, Mactan Doctors Hospital, St. Vincent Gen Hospital, Visayas Community Medical Center and Sacred Heart Hospital.

Porfirio D. Tugas, Jr., MDDIRECTOR

Dr. Tugas graduated Doctor in Medicine in FEU – NRMF in 1999 and took his Residency & Postgraduate Training in Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center, 2007.

He is currently connected in Metrovigan Cooperative Hospital.
